GuitarScroll
Hands-free song sheets for guitarists and singers

Sing it or play it.
The sheet keeps up.

GuitarScroll scrolls your lyrics, chords and tabs by what it hears: the words you sing and the notes you play. Never a timer, never a foot pedal. Your hands stay on the guitar and your eyes stay on the song.

GuitarScroll Pro, $9.99 a month. Web app today, Android app next.

How it works

Your songs, in your hands, without your hands.

Every song-sheet app makes you scroll, tap, or trust a timer that drifts the moment you slow down. GuitarScroll follows you instead. Bring the songs you already play, let the assistant lay them out, and start.

The song builder with your own chords and lyrics pasted in, ready to lay out
The editor: the source on the left, the laid-out sheet with chords over the words on the right
The library with three songs, each with Play, Edit and Export
The play view following a singer: sung words ticked, the current line lit, the words it heard listed beside the sheet
Tab practice: the note to play, the note it heard with the string confirmed, and the cursor on the tab

Paste your own tab, lyrics and chords. Rough is fine: the AI cleans it up and structures it the way you tell it to.

1

Bring your own songs

Paste the tab, the chords and the lyrics you already use. Your library is built from what you own or have the right to use, and it stays yours.

2

Let the assistant lay it out

The AI turns a rough paste into a clean song asset: sections in order, chords over the words, tabs where they belong. Every field stays editable by hand.

3

Play. It listens.

Open the sheet and start. It advances on the words you sing and the notes you play. Stop, and it waits. Skip a verse, and it finds you.

What you get

One library. Every way you play it.

A song in GuitarScroll is one asset: the sheet you sing from, the tab you practise, the settings that tell the app how to listen. Build it once and use it everywhere.

Your own library

Song sheets and tabs, searchable, tagged, with a note of when you last practised each one. Export the lot as JSON whenever you like.

The song builder

Paste your own chord chart, tab or lyrics, as rough as you keep them. The assistant cleans it up and structures it the way you tell it to; you control the song flow and edit the result.

The follower

The sheet scrolls on what it hears. Words carry the position; chords and notes confirm it. Capo, key and transposition are one tap away.

Listening, your way

Words, chords, pitch, or the string model: turn each on or off per song, set how certain it must be, and pick your microphone.

Tab practice

Practice that waits for the right note.

Tab practice walks the tab as it hears each note you play. The cursor never moves on time; it moves when the note is right, and it holds when it is not. A fumble costs you nothing but the next attempt.

  • Loop a section until you want to move on. Reaching the end starts the piece again. Playing it right does not stop the loop; only you do.
  • It knows which string you played. The string model we trained ourselves tells the fifth-fret E on the B string from the open E. Strict mode asks for the right string, not just the right pitch.
  • Every session saves. Passes, best pass, notes right first time, per lick and overall. Close it tonight and continue tomorrow where you left off.
Start practising

The cursor moves when it hears the note, and only then.

Hearing, not timing

It never counts. It listens.

Auto-scroll apps guess a tempo and hope you keep it. GuitarScroll does not guess. It hears the words you sing and the notes you play, and it puts the sheet where you are, whether you rushed the chorus or stopped to retune.

Words are recognised in your browser, on the device, so the sheet keeps following you with no connection at all. Chords, single notes and the string you played them on are all heard the same way.

Try it with your own songs

Words

Speech recognition runs on the device. Sing the line and the sheet moves to it.

Chords

The chord ear confirms the change and keeps the position honest between lines.

Pitch

Single notes from a tab, gated on pitch, so the cursor advances on the note and not the beat.

String model

Our own trained model hears which string you played, for practice that checks the fingering too.
